Welcome to Quotly ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.

We collect information that you provide directly to us, including:

• Account information (name, email address, password)
• Business information (company name, address, VAT number, fiscal code)
• Banking information (IBAN for payment details on quotes)
• Client data (names, email addresses, contact information)
• Quote and invoice data
• Company logo (stored as Base64)

When you share a quote with your clients via email, we track certain information to help you understand quote engagement:

• View timestamp - When the quote was first viewed by the recipient
• View count - How many times the quote link has been accessed
• Response data - When and how the client responded (accepted/rejected)
• Client notes - Any notes the client provides with their response

This tracking is essential for the core functionality of our service, allowing you to know when clients have viewed your quotes and make informed business decisions. The tracking occurs automatically when the quote link is accessed.

We may detect your approximate country based on your IP address to provide automatic language localization (English/Italian). This information is not stored permanently and is only used to improve your user experience.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve our services
• Process and manage your quotes and invoices
• Send you technical notices and support messages
• Track quote views and client responses
• Respond to your comments and questions
• Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent activities

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase infrastructure. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

• With your consent
• To comply with legal obligations
• To protect our rights and prevent fraud
• With service providers who assist our operations (see section 8)

We use the following third-party services to operate Quotly:

• Google Firebase - Authentication, database storage, and cloud functions (data may be processed in Google Cloud data centers)
• Resend - Email delivery service for sending quotes to your clients
• Vercel - Web hosting and edge functions

Each of these providers has their own privacy policies and data processing agreements in place.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights:

• Right to access - Request a copy of your personal data
• Right to rectification - Correct inaccurate data via the app settings
• Right to erasure - Delete your account and all associated data from the app settings
• Right to restrict processing - Limit how we use your data
• Right to data portability - Export your data in JSON format from the app settings
• Right to object - Object to processing of your data

You can exercise your right to erasure and data portability directly within the Quotly app under Profile > Data & Privacy.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. When you delete your account, all associated data (quotes, clients, notifications, services) is permanently removed from our systems.

Our service is not intended for children under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
